This car was moderately modified by a very well-known performance shop, speed1 aka kdr rotary which specialize in rotary applications and performance additions. This mazda rx-8’s engine was replaced 4,500 miles ago with a brand new crate engine from mazda and put together by speed1. This shop modified the turbo on the car to be water-cooled along with the oil cooling, much more reliable than just oil cooled. The car is currently running about 8-9 pounds of boost but levels out to 6-7 towards the high range. Very few cosmetic issues, very slick looking car and runs very strong. This car was never driven in the winter but sat under cover. Just turbo kit was over $5000 plus the professional installion and tuning. Cruise Control✔ Leather Seats
